B) Fund-Raising Activities:
Purple Bows - For a $10 donation, you can purchase
a Purple Bow which will be attached to your mail-box for you, enabling
you to share your St. James' community support to find a cure for
cancer.
Luminaries - For a $10 donation, you can remember
your loved ones who may have lost their battle against cancer, or are
still fighting back against this dreadful disease. Luminaries are small
white bags, protecting a candle of hope & love which burn throughout the
night at Relay in vigil for those you are honoring or remembering.
Fight-Back Flags - For a $1 donation, you can
purchase a single Star or Stripe or any other single flag component part
in an effort to 'raise' a flag for cancer victims. If you wish, you may
donate $68 for the entire flag* which you may then wish to personalize
in honor or memory of your loved one. The purpose of the flags is to
keep the fight against cancer flowing when the candles of hope
extinguish. * Flag will be returned to you the week after closing
ceremonies.
